Research Collaborator (f/m)

The researcher will participate in building a model for optimizing the full decarbonized French electricity mix in 2050. Based on probabilistic hypotheses on the complete costs of electricity by technology (solar, wind, nuclear, biomass) and storage (hydrogen, battery, hydro), on the social costs of sobriety and blackouts and on the weather context over the whole of the 8760 hours of the year 2050, this research will aim to characterize the optimal electricity mix (regarding the investments to be made between 2030 and 2050) taking into account the deep uncertainties affecting this problem, using the Monte Carlo method.
