**Call for Papers – Workshop**
**A Cross-Disciplinary Perspective on Philosophy of Science, Political Philosophy, and Environmental Economics**

How are economics and the natural sciences increasingly converging to better understand the relationship between societies and the environment? What are the epistemological, methodological, and political implications of this evolution?
This workshop welcomes contributions at the intersection of economics, philosophy of science, political philosophy, and environmental sciences, focusing on three broad themes:
The epistemology of hybridization between economics and the natural sciences
The political and normative implications of this hybridization
“Terrestrial” economies and new approaches to the society–nature interface
**Abstracts (3,000–5,000 characters, including references) should be submitted by July 15, 2026.**
Key dates:
• July 15, 2026: Abstract submission deadline
• Early September: Notification of acceptance
• November 1: Full papers due
• December 3: Workshop at the École Normale Supérieure, Paris
This workshop offers an opportunity to bring together economists, philosophers, historians of science, and environmental researchers to discuss the ongoing transformation of knowledge in response to the ecological crisis.
