Post-doctoral in Social science – UMR CESAER INRAE

This post-doc project is part of the PROSESSE research program, funded by the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region, dedicated to the justice issues surrounding the preservation of soil ecosystem services and their public action instruments. Drawing on social justice theories, the planned work involves developing an empirical approach aimed at understanding the principles of justice mobilized by different action instruments (regulatory vs. incentive, monetary vs. non-monetary) in favor of reducing pesticide use. Based on case studies in viticulture, the mechanisms by which stakeholders collectively seek to act more fairly will be analyzed. An experiment with the stakeholders involved (farmers, consumers or residents) will examine their adherence to certain types of instruments, and clarify the principles of justice they have chosen.
