The first edition of the FAERE Doctoral Workshop was held online on June 16, 2021. This virtual event brought together PhD students in environmental, resource, and energy economics for an afternoon of academic exchange.
Each 30-minute presentation was followed by a discussion led by a fellow PhD student and a senior researcher, fostering constructive and supportive feedback. The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including the spatial structure of cities, environmental competition in electricity markets, household food insecurity in Burkina Faso, and the effectiveness of behavioral nudges.
This inaugural workshop marked an important milestone in building a doctoral network within the FAERE community, promoting knowledge sharing and collective problem-solving.
