The aim of the conference is to promote scientific research in the field of environmental economics. All theoretical or applied works are welcome, on topics such as biodiversity, fishery, agriculture, forestry, water, energy, climate, pollution, green growth, and bio-based economy. Four particular themes will be highlighted: i)<\/em> evaluation (non-market values, ecosystem services, sustainability criteria, equity, risk value, etc.), ii)<\/em> social interactions (cooperation, coalition, etc.), iii)<\/em> environmental policy (taxation, voluntary agreements, tradeable permits, labelling, etc.) and iv)<\/em> the economics of network industries (energy, water, etc.).
\nThe plenary conferences<\/strong> will be given by:
\n– Christopher Costello<\/strong> (UC Santa Barbara), on September 12<\/strong> (9h30-10h30),
\n– Alexander Pfaff<\/strong> (Duke University, Stanford School of Public Policy), on September 13<\/strong> (10h30-11h30).
\nThis 4th<\/sup> annual conference will also be an opportunity to launch the Young Economist best paper FAERE Award<\/strong>. The particulars of this contest can be found here<\/a>.
\nAll presentations will be in English.
\nAuthors are invited to submit<\/a> their paper no later than May 12th<\/sup>, 2017<\/strong>.
