In particular, he edited the collective work The Design of Climate Policy (2008, with Henry Tulkens). The lectures he gave at the Coll&egrave;ge de France, collected in L&rsquo;&eacute;conomie du changement climatique (The Economics of Climate Change), are also a major reference work.<br>\nThrough his work, his intellectual rigour and his sense of public responsibility, he will continue to be a lasting inspiration to the FAERE community.<br>\nOur deepest sympathies go out to his family, loved ones and colleagues.<br>\nSerge Garcia, President of FAERE<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"x895\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-x895\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Death of Ren&eacute; Passet<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-x895\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p data-start=\"59\" data-end=\"531\">FAERE has learned with great sadness of the passing of Ren&eacute; Passet, economist and one of the association&rsquo;s honorary members since its creation. An exceptional economist and a passionate advocate for interdisciplinary thinking, he was particularly renowned for his work on climate policy and sustainable development.
